Privacy notice

Last updated: 31 October 2026. Short version: you give us an email address, we use it to tell you about AgentAnvil, and you can leave whenever you like. We don't sell your data. We wouldn't know who to sell it to.

Who we are

AgentAnvil is a pre-launch project run by Craig McKay in Scotland, UK. For this notice, AgentAnvil is the controller of the personal data you give us through the waitlist. You can contact us at agentanvil@protonmail.com.

What we collect

We don't ask for anything else, and please don't send us wallet keys, passwords or anything you'd regret. We will never ask for them.

Why we use it

Only to send you occasional updates about AgentAnvil, such as pilot news and launch information, and to reply if you contact us. No advertising, no profiling, no passing your details to anyone for their own marketing.

Our lawful basis

Under the UK GDPR, our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time, and that won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who else handles it

Your details are collected by Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), the form service we use to run the waitlist, and sent to our email account at Proton Mail. Formspree is based in the United States, so your details may be stored there. It acts on our instructions, and we rely on the safeguards set out in Formspree's data processing terms for that transfer.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until we decide AgentAnvil won't go ahead, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.

How to unsubscribe

Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email agentanvil@protonmail.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject. A human will remove you. Promptly, for a human.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email us and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels. Fonts are served from our own site, not a third party. The agent page remembers, for your browser session only, that you've already seen the loading screen, so it doesn't make you sit through it twice. That's stored in your browser and never sent to us.

Changes

If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top. If the change matters, we'll email the waitlist.
